Với các phiên bản windows trước đó việc phát wifi phải thông qua các phần mềm của hãng thứ 3 như là
Intel® PROSet:với các máy xài dòng card wifi của intel

Connectify:Với các dòng card khác nhưng có phí

Virtual wifi router:Cái này hoạt động không ổn định lắm nhưng miễn phí

Nhưng với windows 8 vấn đề này đã được tích hợp sẵn như các smart phone cho phép bạn nhanh chóng tạo hostport wifi mà không phải dùng thêm công cụ nào.Tuy nhiên bạn chưa có giao diện đồ họa để bật tính năng này(nhưng mình thấy một số team đã viết tool kích hoạt).

Bước 1 là bạn chạy cmd ở quyền Admin (hộp thoại UAC xuất hiện bạn chọn Yes nhá)

Khởi tạo hostport trong cmd

Câu lệnh khởi tạo: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=[SIDD] key=[password]

có 2 thông số bạn điều chỉnh theo ý bạn

[SIDD]:Tên của wifi mà bạn phát

[password]:Mật khẩu vào wifi(tối thiểu 8 ký tự nha)

thí dụ mình đặt là x0707 pass mylove4u

xem hình nha

Nhập lệnh xong thì bấm Enter

Vậy là ok rồi đó tiếp theo là câu lệnh khởi động hostport

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

Cúng trong cái cmd đó luôn

OK vậy là thành công rồi

bạn thử truy cập từ laptop/iphone hay smartphone có wifi xem ^^

lúc này nếu chưa có internet bạn xem tiếp bước dưới nha ^^

Vào Network and sharing center để cấu hình vào Internet

Bạn tìm card mạng có cái tên giống như tên bạn đặt như mình nãy là x0707 nó có tên là 

Local Area Connection *14

Bạn chọn card đang nối mạng internet như 3G/Wireless/LAN như mình là đang xài WiFi( Thanh Van Coffee) Click phải chọn Properties

Qua thẻ Sharing > Tick vào ô Allow orther network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection > Xổ cái ô Home networking connection : Chọn cái card của hotport mới tạo

Vậy là khi các thiết bị nối qua hostport đã có thể truy cập internet được rồi 

Muốn ngưng phát thì dùng lệnh sau

netsh wlan stop hostednetwork

Rồi Enter

Như vậy là ok rồi
